The services described in the respective offer or travel program are binding. The specific scope of services results exclusively from the respective offer. This also applies in particular to migration-related services such as the application for or extension of residence permits. Such services are only part of the trip if they are explicitly stated in the respective offer. Changes in the itinerary are possible if they are necessary for organizational or weather-related reasons.
Adventure-Worldwide provides the services to the best of its knowledge and in cooperation with local authorities, translators, and service providers.
Not included in the basic travel price are:

  • Round-trip flights to Paraguay or Brazil depending on the travel offer

  • optional excursions or additional services.

Room occupancy:
Please understand: single and double rooms are available. A half double room cannot be booked. Upon request, however, we will gladly arrange, if possible, another person to share the room.

Insurances
Each participant is advised to have valid travel health insurance for the duration of the trip. In addition, a travel cancellation insurance (including coverage in case of non-participation due to health or family reasons) is strongly recommended. Participation without adequate insurance coverage is at your own risk.

Transfers and rides
During the trip, rides by car or minibus will take place. Adventure-Worldwide ensures safe, roadworthy vehicles and careful drivers. Nevertheless, participation in all rides is at your own responsibility. Adventure-Worldwide assumes no liability for accidents or damages caused by third parties or by force majeure.

Changes and cancellations

Replacement services will be provided, if possible, of equivalent value. In such cases, there is no entitlement to price reduction or compensation.

Cancellation by the customer
Cancellations must be made in writing (by e-mail). The following cancellation fees apply:

  • in case of force majeure or official travel restrictions,
  • if the minimum number of participants is not reached,
  • in case of personal illness of the travel companion or unforeseeable logistical problems.

In such cases, already paid amounts will be fully refunded. Further claims (e.g., reimbursement of flight costs or lost vacation days) are excluded.

Excursions and third-party services
Excursions, activities, or tours booked or paid independently of Adventure-Worldwide with third parties during the stay are not part of the services guaranteed by us. Adventure-Worldwide assumes no liability for personal or property damage occurring during such third-party services, even if we assisted with the booking or facilitated participation. Any claims must be made exclusively against the respective third-party provider.

Payment
When booking a trip, a deposit of 30% of the total price is due. The remaining 70% of the travel price must be paid to the account of Adventure-Worldwide no later than 60 days before the start of the trip. Complaints or problems must be reported immediately on-site during the trip so that corrective action can be taken. Subsequent complaints cannot be considered.

Force majeure
In case of unforeseeable events such as natural disasters, epidemics, political unrest, or official orders, Adventure-Worldwide may adjust, postpone, or cancel the contract. In these cases, there is no entitlement to damages or compensation.

Liability and compensation

  • force majeure, political events, natural disasters, or pandemics,
  • delays or failures by authorities, airlines, or third parties,
  • health or personal risks of the participant,

Migration

Application for the two-year residence permit (Residencia Temporal)

The application for the two-year residence permit (Residencia Temporal) is included in the price of the Investment- and the Exploration trip. The application process takes place exclusively on-site and is supported by an immigration assistant. Please contact us directly after booking the trip so that we can assist you in obtaining the required documents for the application for the temporary residence permit.

Required documents:

  • Birth certificate (with apostille)
  • Police clearance certificate (with apostille, not older than 6 months and with no entries)
  • Marriage and/or divorce certificate (if applicable, with apostille)

All documents must be submitted in the original and fully apostilled.

Extension and conversion:

The residence permit is initially valid for two years. After the two years, an extension is required to convert it into a 10-year permanent residence permit (Residencia Permanente). The extension application is also only possible on-site. We recommend booking the extension trip for this purpose.

Important notes:

The temporary residence permit in Paraguay (Residencia Temporal) is generally valid for a period of up to two years. In order to maintain the status of this permit, it is now required to enter Paraguay at least once per year. This regulation is intended to document the ongoing stay and the connection to the country.

Currently, there is a mandatory entry requirement every 365 days, which is strictly monitored due to the increasing number of applications. If this entry does not occur within the year, it may affect the status of the residence permit. In case of non-compliance with the entry regulation, the authorities may refuse to extend the permit to permanent residence status. In this context, it is possible that the process will either be completely canceled or the extension of the temporary residence permit will be limited to another two years.

For this reason, it is strongly advised to contact us at the end of the year to clarify the current rules and to get information about the legal situation, ensuring that all requirements for maintaining the residence permit are met. Changes in legal regulations are possible at any time.

All consulting services are provided to the best of our knowledge, but no legal guarantee can be given for the approval of the residence permit or the processing time.

Participant requirements and obligations:

The customer is obliged to submit all required documents (e.g., passport, birth certificate, police clearance certificate without entries, and, if applicable, marriage or divorce certificate) completely, in the original, and in a timely manner. All documents must be up to date (police clearance not older than 6 months and without entries) and properly apostilled. Adventure-Worldwide supports the preparation and checks the formal completeness, but assumes no liability for incorrect, missing, or late-submitted documents.
It should be noted that after the first trip to apply for the two-year residence permit, two additional trips or stays in Paraguay are required until the 10-year permanent residence permit (Residencia Permanente) and the Cédula are issued. For persons who are not willing to complete these further steps, the initial application makes no sense.

Application for the Paraguayan Cédula de Identidad (Identity Card)

The application for the Cédula de Identidad is only possible after obtaining the two-year residence permit (Residencia Temporal). It is submitted at the Departamento de Identificaciones of the National Police. Personal appearance is required for the application, during which biometric data, such as fingerprints, are electronically recorded.

Importance of the Cédula:

The Cédula serves as an official proof of identity and is required for: opening bank accounts, rental contracts, official procedures, health insurance, and international identity verification (e.g., at banks or crypto exchanges).

Validity:

The Cédula is issued for a maximum of two years, for the duration of the residence permit (Residencia Temporal), and can then be extended depending on the approval of the permanent residence permit.

Important notes:

Adventure-Worldwide facilitates and accompanies the process in cooperation with a local immigration assistant on-site. The application itself is exclusively handled by the authorized immigration assistant, who submits and coordinates the process with the relevant authorities. Adventure-Worldwide is not a party to the official procedure and assumes no responsibility for its course or outcome. We provide organizational support during the trip and offer advisory assistance. The information is provided to the best of our knowledge and belief, but without warranty or guarantee for the issuance of the Cédula, the timeline, or decisions by the Paraguayan authorities.

Disclaimer:

Adventure-Worldwide assumes no liability for delays, rejections, changes in procedures, additional governmental requirements, or any other circumstances beyond our control. The current regulations of the Paraguayan authorities always take precedence. The decision regarding the issuance of residence documents lies exclusively with the relevant authorities. The responsibility for the completeness and accuracy of the submitted documents lies with the applicant. No refund will be issued in case of rejection.

Information about VAT and Invoicing:

Adventure-Worldwide is a company based in Paraguay (PY). Therefore, all services are generally subject to Paraguayan tax regulations. Depending on the client’s location and status (private or business, inside or outside the EU), different invoicing and VAT rules apply.

1. Clients based in Paraguay

For customers with a business or residence in Paraguay, invoicing is generally done including Paraguayan value-added tax (IVA) according to the applicable national regulations.

2. Services Provided in Paraguay (Travel, Migration, On-Site Services)

All services physically provided in Paraguay are subject to Paraguayan value-added tax (IVA). Invoicing will therefore include VAT (IVA), regardless of whether the customer is based in Paraguay or abroad.

3. Services Without Physical Performance in Paraguay (Coaching, Web Design)

Services that are provided exclusively digitally or outside of Paraguay may qualify as export services. If the legal requirements are met, invoicing in these cases will be without IVA.

4. Clients based abroad

For customers outside Paraguay, invoicing depends on the type of service:

  • On-site services in Paraguay – Invoicing includes IVA (10% Paraguayan VAT)
  • Digital or services provided abroad – Invoicing without IVA

European VAT regulations (Reverse-Charge Procedure) do not apply, as Adventure-Worldwide is not a company based in the European Union.

5. Tax Responsibility of the Customer

Each customer is responsible for checking the tax treatment of the services received in their respective country and fulfilling any tax obligations there.
